Philip Teuwen is one of Australia’s most experienced Sleep Scientists. Over his 20-year career, he has led some of the country’s largest and most advanced tertiary hospital sleep disorders centres. At BEDPOST Sleep Collective, his areas of speciality include the assessment and management of Insomnia and Obstructive Sleep Apnoea (OSA).Phil founded BEDPOST Sleep Collective to bring his hospital-based expertise and scientific experience into his clients’ homes. By combining cutting edge sleep technology with the latest clinical research, he offers a world class service that stands apart from the more common, unregistered, retail-style sleep providers.He is a commended postgraduate lecturer in the pathophysiology of sleep disorders and was an inaugural Board Member in establishing the Australia New Zealand Sleep Science Association (ANZSSA), the professional body for sleep scientists in Australia.Phil was the first clinical physiologist in Australia to become a registered CBTi practitioner, providing first line therapy for insomnia with his novel CBTi program.Currently, Phil serves on the Board of the Australian Council of Clinical Physiologists (ACCP); the national registration body for Clinical Measurement Scientists across Sleep, Respiratory, and Cardiac disciplines.
